Guys, I know that I'll be getting one of these shortly
http://www.cigarsinternational.com/pr...

and was wondering what you guys recommended for humidification unit?
I ideally would like something with the hydrometer built in so that I'm not guessing on turning a knob up or down.

Well Nate, if you're getting that from them, why not use this...

Seems to fit the bill, and from what I've read and been told they work great.

I have one of the Oasis XL units. I would trust the hygro about as far as I can throw it. Mine is off about 10* so I would not use it as my only guide. The units overall are pretty decent and can be recharged with distilled. The fans are fairly quiet as well. Their customer service has some faults, but that may have been my experience. I have a few cartridges that I rotate after recharge, which I have to do in my 300 count about once every 3 or so months depending on the weather. With that 1000 count I would suggest a larger unit such as this:

http://www.cigaroasis.com/index.php/cigar-oasis-xl-plus

Same size, just more horsepower.

Just my .02

A lot of us do, and they get my vote.

Have the beads in my coolerdor. They're good. Had a cigar oasis with the first real humi and while good, it took me a long time to get the knob set right for the humidity.

My relative got this in his cabinet humidor and says it's been running flawless for 10 years

I use the bead in my cooler and the desktop.  In my aristrocrat cabinet, I use their humidification system.  Digital set & forget, baby!

I use 2 Oasis XL Plus. One in the top and the other in the bottom. About a pound of beads in the middle in this:

been working like a charm for over 3 years now

Ended up going with the Habitat Monitor.
I attached their brochures if anyone else wants to take a look.

System is a bit pricey but its digital set and forget until it beeps to tell you its out of water.

Had to link the other page as it's over 300kb

I would bid on cigarbid for one and not pay that much.....That aside, I had the Oasis and loved it, I converted the water cartridge to be perm and not disposable....
